For the first time, public health professionals and other interested individuals are invited to a two-day HPV Public Health Workshop co-organized by the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Institut national de santé publique du Québec. Throughout this workshop, participants will be able to share their knowledge and experiences at highly enriching interactive sessions.
HPV-related diseases represent an important burden on our health care system. Recent scientific progress has led to the development or new preventive strategies or the adaptation of existing ones. Building on multidisciplinary expertise, this workshop will present a platform for discussing some of the difficulties and solutions that have emerged from the Canadian and international experience.
- to enhance public health knowledge and translation of scientific and programmatic information on HPV;
- to identify policy implications of emerging HPV public health issues;
- to identify gaps and opportunities for public health action;
