TAXES

When completing the registration form, sales taxes will be attributed to the registration fees depending on your country of origin.
The following taxes apply for this conference: GST = Goods and Services tax (federal) / QST = Quebec sales tax (provincial)

  • International delegates: 0.565% GST
  • Canadian delegates: 5% GST
  • Quebec delegates: 5% GST and 7.5% QST
  • Gala tickets for all participants are taxable at 5% GST and 7.5% QST

Delegates can register online and pay with credit card using a secure online system or using this form. Accepted credit cards are Visa and Mastercard. A confirmation letter will automatically be sent to registered delegates to the email address provided on the registration form.

US Dollar Cheque, Wire Transfer or Money Order

  • Your cheque or money order must accompany your completed registration form.
  • No post-dated cheques will be accepted.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Delegates unable to attend HPV 2010 (or its related workshops) after having paid their registration fees, must provide a written request for their refund on or before May 1, 2010. A 25% administrative charge will be applied. HPV 2010 regrets that requests received after this date will not be considered. All approved refunds will be issued after the Conference.

Exceptions:

  1. Abstract submitters whose abstracts have been rejected may request a full refund by April 1, 2010. The administration fee does not apply.
  2. Delegates who are unable to secure a visa will be able to request a full refund by May 1, 2010. The administration fee does not apply.
  3. Written requests should be addressed to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by fax to 1-888-777-8613. It is important to indicate your registration reference number in the subject of the e-mail or fax.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Is there any travel support, grant support, financial help available through the conference?
A. The deadline for application for travel grants is February 15, 2010. Please visit the travel award section under the Programme tab.
Q. Can I get a discount?
A. There are no special discounts available for the conference other than the Early-Bird rate of March 30.
Q. We are joining the congress as a group. Do you have a group discount?
A. There is no group discount. To benefit from the best rate, we encourage delegates to register at the early-bird rate.
Q. I need an invitation letter in order to obtain my visa.
A. Official letters of invitation for visa applications can be requested from REGISTERED participants who have PAID their registration fees. These letters do not and can not commit the Organizing Committee to any financial obligation. Should the visa not be granted to the applicant, the registration fee will be reimbursed.
