Anna-Barbara Moscicki

Dr. Moscicki is currently Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF, and Associate Director, Division of Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Moscicki’s career has focused on adolescent gynecology and sexually transmitted disease research. She has over 100 publications in the areas of adolescence, sexually transmitted diseases, specifically human papillomavirus (HPV) and HIV. Dr. Moscicki has been the PI of a natural history study of HPV in adolescents and young women since 1990, one of the longest running cohort studies of HPV. Her studies incorporate mucosal and systemic immune responses to HPV. She has served on numerous NIH and national committees, including the Society for Adolescent Medicine, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and the American Cancer Society.
